Many people tend to overlook the importance of nutrition and focus only on exercise as the key factor in getting fit. But without a proper diet, you may find yourself struggling to achieve your desired goals despite putting in all of that hard work at the gym.
Let me share with you a true story. I have a friend who many years ago was a regular gym-goer. He worked out very hard consistently 4 to 5 days a week for over 3 years. In terms of workout ethics, this guy had it!

Cooking your meals at home can give you better control over the ingredients you’re consuming, and help you save money in the long run.

Even healthy foods can cause weight gain if consumed in excess. Practice portion control by using smaller plates or measuring your food servings.
Eating a balanced meal before and after your workout
